Come Blow Your Horn was Neil Simon’s first play produced on Broadway and is a typical, slick, lively funny comedy set in New York.

Harry Baker, owner of the largest artificial fruit business in the East, is the father of two sons.  Alan, the elder son, is the playboy who tries his father’s patience by only working when it suits him and going on golfing or skiing jaunts with attractive female companions.

Buddy, the younger brother, who up to now has been tied to his parents at home. has an urge to assert himself so moves in with his brother Alan, leaving a rebellious letter by way of explanation.  The comic complications between the boys, their father and their mother and attractive young ladies, makes for a typically funny Neil Simon play.”
