A racy, pacey farce, the play is a hilarious comedy first seen at the Queen’s Theatre in 1969, and was back more recently at the Vaudeville Theatre starring Tim McInnerny and Omid Djalili.

With non-stop social commentary, it was hailed as a modern comedy every bit as good as The Importance of Being Earnest.

When psychoanalyst Dr. Prentice convinces his attractive prospective secretary to undress in her job interview, he doesn’t expect to be walked in on by his wife, her blackmailing lover, a meddling government inspector or an inquisitive policeman. All is not lost as identities are swapped and social decorum buried, but dignity, wits and clothes might be.
